As a tribute to the iconic Mississippi meander maps made by Harold Fisk in the 1940’s and as a tribute to the beauty of Alaskan rivers, I created a map of the Koyukuk River in the style of Fisk using data published by permafrost researchers and cultural resources/linguistic researchers.
